CrystalVision gives 'Adopt-a-spot' a Face-Lift

August 17, 2004 - Portsmouth, NH

The obvious benefit of the Adopt-A-Spot program is the beautification and enhancement of previously unsightly areas. CrystalVision Web Site Design and Internet Services, a Portsmouth based company, volunteers its time to the Adopt-A-Spot program and is currently refurbishing one of the city's traffic islands.

"Our spot is the triangle in front of the Sheraton Hotel on Market Street," says Deb Brewer, CrystalVision's Founder and President. The island was completely changed this year and now includes a tiered flowerbed with marble and granite edging. "We will continue to enhance the area through the fall and next year with additional plantings and features." With the "Adopt-a-Spot" program, Brewer applies her love for gardening to a project that improves the ambiance and beauty of downtown Portsmouth.

"Since our start, CrystalVision has recognized that our obligations extend beyond our clients, to our community. The Adopt-A-Spot program is an excellent way for our organization to show pride in our community and to be a part of making Portsmouth a cleaner, healthier, safer and more beautiful place to live and work," adds Brewer.

Other organizations to benefit from CrystalVision's community service policy are Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast, the UNH CEO Forum, Art Around Town in Portsmouth, the annual MDA Lockup, and the Portsmouth Police Department's "Crime Stopper" program.
